It is strange when I look at it over the course of a 18 week season how one little error on one ranking can impact the season
16 weeks will have 2 teams on a bye so only 15 games, max score 120 = 1920 points
2 weeks will have all 32 teams playing max score 136 = 272 max
max score for a perfect season is 2192

And that means that one error is 0.547% of possible # of points. We'll see if it was a fatal flaw in 17 weeks :D
There is always a 16 point game, as I recall it. Not sure how you did the math once the Bye's start, but they eliminate the lower options. So, if three teams have a by, I believe four is the lowest you can rank a game. I could be misremembering though.

I blew it big time on Cincy this week. I should have known what a shit show that franchise is. I still can't get over how inflated the ego on that group is. They literally got lucky as shit one season, had no injuries, got a lucky break, as I recall in all three playoff games, and made a Super Bowl. The way they have handled themselves after you would have thought they won three straight titles! If I had been smart? I would have had them more towards the middle, not at 16! No chance I would have picked NE to win, but in hindsight. All the signs were there for them to possibly shit all over themselves.
Live and learn.

I picked the niner's to win and felt odd when they were down 7-3, cheering for them to come back. The Pick-em pool of DT's is as mind altering as LSD!
I was a rookie last year and got creamed lol. This year if I finish middle of the pack, I'll be happy. This is hard and random lol.
I went with 4 dogs in the 1st week ( Balt, Browns, Raiders, Pitt) ANd only Pitt came in for me but if I would have known about the confidence ranking I would not have had game one vs 2-time SB defending cjhamp at arrowhead I would have had them at about #3 for points. and so that was a 12 point swing. That would have took me from 12th to 9th.

I changed it so max points is always 16.

Eagles v. Falcons

Falcons are like the Bungles to me. I never know what they are going to do from week to week. And it's hard to know what to expect from the Eagles after the opener in Brazil with that sloppy slick field.

Your choice:

Free dinner, drinks and night in the MNF booth with Troy Aikman and Joe Buck

or

Free screening colonoscopy

Crazy finish. I hate Atlanta's offense, but damn, Philly straight up choked that one.

I did not see Eagles v Falcons because it was only available on ESPN. Usually it's on KOMO 4 ABC as well as ESPN.
Incrementally, they are taking away my birthright to watch NFL games on normal TV stations.

It already happened for college. Both the Huskies and Cougar games should be available on local free channels.
Since that is not going to happen, they could at least make all college and pro games available a la carte on
Prime for say, $2.99, or something like that.

Jax - Buffalo

Redskins - Bungholes

Maybe one day I will make the right pick with Cincy in our pool lol, but it really doesn't matter, because I took a pounding this week!

Saints-Chiefs

I hope we get to see Taylor Swift partying in a suite between plays. They should show her more often during Chiefs' games. She is so cool and her romance with Travis is really beautiful. Watching their love blossom is a big reason why I watch NFL football.
