First move of the Off season!

Seems small now but I love it. Could be a Roblesesque move. Would much rather have him at 3B than Rojas!

Yeah, I kind of wondered when you posted that he was DFA'd. They'll put him on the 40 and see how he does in Tacoma.

He is 26 yo and has nothing left to prove in the minors. He is a better option that Rojas at 3B. Let them compete in ST. I bet he make the OD roster and might be in the lineup.

This could be like getting 26 year old Haniger for nothing but a little bit of money. Haniger posted a 83 OPS during his first 100 PAs with AZ.

Shenton put up a 114 OPS in his first 50 last season.

First they kick Polo to the curb and now this. Let's keep the party going. lol

He has played a lot of 1B lately too. Actually played all 10 games with the Rays at 1B so he could be the other half of the Raley platoon. Beats paying millions to a 40 yo

He's got a shot. They drafted him for his hit tool. I think his upside is probably lefty Ty France, maybe a little better.

His D at 3B must not be great given the recent shift. I bet he is a better option than France though.

Love his power and walk rate. That is a great combo.

Don’t understand why they didn’t send Haggerty away rather then Chargois
