Would anyone trade two years of Randy Arozarena for two years of Philadelphia third baseman Alec Bohm?

MLB Trade Rumors projects 2025 arbitration salaries of $11.7 million for Arozarena and $8.1 million for Bohm

A year ago Baseball Trade Values assigned Arozarena a surplus value of $33.5 million and Bohm a surplus value of $19.9 million. Today, BTV assigns Arozarena a surplus value of $7.7 million and Bohm a surplus value of $24.9 million.

Do the current BTV valuations reflect recency bias?

The Phillies reportedly were interested in Arozarena at the trade deadline before Tampa Bay traded the former All Star and AL Rookie of the Year to Seattle:

Luke Raley could replace Arozarena in the Seattle outfield but the Mariners would need to sign Justin Turner, Carlos Santana and/or other alternative for first base and designated hitter.

As always, feedback is welcome.
Maybe, If you think Bohm continues to improve on defense and at the plate.

The Reds got 2 years of Brady Singer who is a really good pitcher every other year. For 2 years of 2B J. India and a nobody O.F.

Who won that? I'd say the Reds but K.C. just needed 1/2 their lineup not to be black holes. Their 3B Garcia had a 72 OPS+ so a 105 would be a 33% improvement.

Not sure where this goes, but the busy Angels just signed Kikuchi to a 3 year deal:

The Angels may still be a mediocre team, but they seem to be the busiest team in baseball right now, and they are a better team than they were 2 months ago.

Absolutely. I have been pushing that for a while. Santana to be full time 1B. Then sign Kim and trade for Rooker and we are done.

$63M for a soon to be 34 yo pitcher with a career 4.57 ERA. Very Angely...

If you're into recency bias
Kikuchi finished 2024 with a 9–10 record and 4.05 ERA but was excellent after his move to the Astros, posting a 5–1 record and 2.7 ERA in 10 starts. His 11.4 strikeouts per nine innings in Houston would have been his highest mark across a full season

More recency bias: he has a career 0.39 ERA against Seattle with 31 strikeouts spanning four starts (23 1/3 innings).

Mariners should be in on Arenado, yeah right. I don't think these writers spend much time researching the teams they write about. Frequently? lol
“The Mariners are frequently hesitant to take on big salary commitments, but Arenado should be firmly on their radar,” Mcwilliam and Goldberg said. “Seattle struggled to replace the production at third base after trading Eugenio Suárez to the Arizona Diamondbacks ahead of last season. Mariners third basemen were middle of the pack in wRC+ and finished 21st in home runs.

Wouldn't that be proximity (hitting close to home) bias instead.
