From Jim Bowden's Q&A column Friday in The Athletic:
My Orioles need pitching and the Mariners need hitting. The O’s are also overloaded with infielders, especially after re-signing corner infielder Emmanuel Rivera for next season, but they need two starting pitchers. So how about the Orioles trade first baseman Ryan Mountcastle, a top 20 infield prospect (from their organization) and a top 20 outfield prospect to Seattle for either Luis Castillo or Logan Gilbert plus a top 20 starting pitcher prospect? — No name given

If I’m the Mariners, I’ll offer you Castillo for Coby Mayo and Mountcastle. As an Orioles fan, would you make that swap? Then Baltimore could sign either Sasaki or Fried in free agency.

The Luis Castillo proposal would be a no-brainer from the Mariners' perspective but the Orioles are unlikely to approve.
Mayo sure had a rough cup O coffee in his MLB debut. 4 singles and 22 Ks in 46 PAs. Ouch.

Good to see that going into year 10, Dipoto is getting an idea what types of hitters succeed at T-Mobile.

LOL It is mind numbing when you think about it. It's this years version of we need to cut down on Ks.

And the year before that they needed "base sweepers".

And of course guys who control the zone. But that wasn't enough, so they were forced to dominate the zone.

You're right, it's just more word salad from the master saboteur, Dipoto.

Sent by the Angels to keep the Mariners in perpetual mediocrity.

Its like that MFer has a book with thousands of inane sayings and word salads that you uses to find new ones spew out to the fanbase.
