They replace a guy with a signing, then trade him for an outfielder they once drafted and a draft pick between the first and second rounds.

So their MLB team doesn't suffer in the short term, but they add two solid pieces to their system.

They also offered Teoscar a QO, another thing the M's fail to do that hurts their system relative to other teams.

Oh I can remember sitting there in '94 when Pinella took over. Chris Bosio threw the first M's No-hitter. I watched plenty of games Darren! I just need to bent my frustrations.
