I already didn't like Dipoto, but that maybe the dumbest thing he has ever said. And he has said a lot of bad things. This Organization sucks.

Logan Gilbert had 33 starts, a 3.23 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP in 208 innings and had NINE wins but our offense doesn't get enough credit. Just STFU Jerry.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh........

13th in HR's
21st in R's
22nd in RBI's
9th in SB's
4th in BB% (woohoo, great job!)
2nd highest K% (oof!, maybe you shouldnt watch so many pitches trying to draw walks)
19th in ISO
29th in AVG
15th in OBP
25th in SLG

Maybe he means they're really good at showering. And backgammon...

Things that don't have anything to do with baseball...

Because as far as stats go, the only thing they do well is draw walks.

Lol, congratulations offense, you found another way not to hit the ball.

Didn’t you get the feeling the “Spin Master” was a magician practicing the old misdirection ploy. Took the focus right to pitching. Total scam as far as I’m concerned.

I am really up in arms if this is true. If the Mets have the highest offer and it is 3 for 70 million? Could we 4 for 92? How about 5 for 105 million? Pete Alonso is a career 134 OPS+ guy who's power plays anywhere. This move would put the M's as clear faves in the West. Texas has a solid lineup but they have questions in both the BP and the SP1-5. Houston has pitching but three ??? in the outfield.

In Pete's non-Covid years the least amount of HR was 34 :o the rest go 37, 40, 46, and 53 and Covid year was 16 which scales up to 43.

With Pete

1. Robles RF
2. J Rod CF
3. Raley* DH
4. Pete 1B
5. Cal** C
6. Randy LF
7. Polanco** 3B
8. Bliss 2B
9. JP* SS

Bench Garver, Moore, Shenton*, +1 Solano (Trade Haniger).

That is actually a pretty good team. Solano and Raley form a platoon at DH with Raley covering 1B and OF subs and Solano can do 1B,2B,3B.
Shenton is a second shot at Luke Raley He can be a lefty bench bat and backup 1B,3B, OF
Moore plays every spot except catcher
Garver with a fresh start is a good backup catcher. He really is solid behind the dish and even in an off year, he still managed double digit HRs and double digit walk rates.

If Pete was a SS, C, CF with those numbers he would be demanding 200M+. He is a 1B who shows up every day (10 games is the most he has missed in a season) and hits for power in the middle of your lineup.

This team looks scary with Pete. DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO it!

What were their numbers under Dan and Edgar? And, if they are part of the team next year, (they are) How do they pilot the good ship Mariner offense?
Julio under Dan and Edgar: .313 .364 .537 .902 6/7 SB 9 HR, 6 doubles (34 games) and doing that out of home park Safeco/T-Mobile is MVP top 5 worthy. Reminder, He was coming off of the high ankle sprain and the SB #s are reduced because of that.

Lost Cade Marlowe, but at least now we have George Polanco and still get to see Mitch Haniger's turnaround.
