yeah, what a dud. not even the great Creed Humphrey and Joe Thuney was enough to slow that pass rush, and since when did Patrick lose all of his mobility? was worse than the TB loss a few years back. thought they had fixed their OLine since then.

I have one question. Why did they use sign language when the singers were performing? Here you are, in the middle of a huge stadium where perhaps 50 people on each side of the stadium can see you, and you've got a signer? They had to be kidding!

Oh, and we're still #3 on the biggest blowout list!

And how many times did they show Taylor Swift?

With the two garbage time TDs, the most shocking butt-kicking in Super Bowl history still belongs to us.

There are 11 million deaf people in the USA - 3.6% of the population. It might be an idea to let them join in a little bit. The idea of the signer is to not only transcribe the words but to try to reflect the style and energy of the performer. I felt similar to you and didn't know that until I did a British Sign Language course last year and I met some people who get excluded from daily life because nobody teaches it in schools. It was quite an awkward and tough thing to experience but I am grateful to have met them.

Inclusion of this group is not the same as some of the woke nonsense that you see when you hear about DEI policies. They are entitled to a little bit of social media inclusion in one of the world's biggest events. Remember that they might not be able to enjoy it live like you have the benefit to, but this gives them some kind of way of enjoying it after the event.

Ok, it might look a bit crap on the 5 seconds they show on the tellybox and even if you are in the stadium, but have a look at this full performance. I am tempted to say that Matt Maxey's performance of Kendrick Lamar was better than Kendrick Lamar.

Nobody is out to exclude deaf people, but the signers at events like this are purely virtue-signaling optics (and in some locations, required to be there by law).

Unless there was a deaf person on the field close enough to see her, her interpretation was for nobody. And even then, every deaf person I've ever met would have just watched the singer and read lips.

(tech note, every time I wrote deaf my phone corrected to dead... Not cool, phone!)

I'm gonna guess they have a big screen so everyone has a view of the stage, that's pretty basic these days

Get back to me with how many of your deaf mates can lip read someone who had a microphone in front of his gob for 13 minutes. Although I guess you were referring to the National Anthem etc? You may have a point where the Anthem can easily be lip-read.

Out of all the musicians in the world how did they pick those guys. Not even close to the best rap act.
