Lucas came back earlier than projected from the knee surgery and posted a 62 PFF grade which was better than everyone else they tried at RT including George Fant. Hardly a cripple.

If Seattle were to draft Milroe in the 1st round I'd burn my jersey and become a Niners fan.
That dude is a 5th round pick with a move to tight end.

Just like Carroll three years ago, Macdonald can't say enough good things about Geno. Not only will he be here next year, but i wouldn't be surprised if an extension is in the works. He ain't goin nowheh!

They are banking on a new OC being able to limit the turnovers. I think it's more of a talent issue on the interior O Line. Would like to see one of the Tackles fall to us at 18 and we move Abe inside. That would be a start.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 5:04 pmJust like Carroll three years ago, Macdonald can't say enough good things about Geno. I just don't see it. Geno threw the ball 572 times in 2022. 11 INTs. He threw only 6 more times this year, had an even better completion percentage, and still threw 15 picks. I think that is who he is. They point to the "only" 9 picks last year. Yeah, he also threw it 79 fewer times. HIs completion percentage improved from 64.7 last year to 70.4 this year. He just makes some real bone head decisions....and he seems to do it at bad times. Takes a sack to fall out of FG range or throws a damn INT on first down inside the Red Zone. He has all the tools, just bad decision making. But believing that in year 12 in the league he is all of a sudden going to stop doing that?
His INT percentage in New York?
4.7%
3.5%
2.4%
1.9%
1.8%
2.6%
Those three numbers while here look pretty good in comparison, but he is regressing, not improving. He is who he is. They can improve the O Line and we can make the playoffs with him. But I don't think you win in the playoffs with him. Wyman and Bob think he is going to sign an extension, that eases the cap burden this year, and it allows the Hawks to draft the guy for the future. I only know one thing....Sam Howell is not the fucking future of anything besides a new career!

What kubiak had to say
"Geno's a very aggressive player," Kubiak said. "Has a lot of production. Obviously, he's been doing it for a long time. He's overcome a lot in his career. I have a lot of respect for Geno. It was a huge draw to come here and be able to get to coach him alongside [quarterbacks coach] Andrew Janocko. We have high expectations for him. We're going to push Geno and get the best out of him, and we'll do that by pushing his teammates, as well. It's not just his show. It's a team thing, and he's got to be the head of that."
"I think Geno's tough as nails," Kubiak said. "I think you look at the guy in the fourth quarter and he goes and wins football games. That excites me. That fires me up. I've watched his career, studying him now more than I ever have before, but you think about a guy that's been through a lot of adversity, a guy that's been knocked off the high horse and had to claw his way back into the starter's role. And then he comes back the last two years and wins more games in the fourth quarter than anybody in the NFL. That's a guy that I want to coach."
