Could be the a tore labrum as well.

both the rotator cuff and labrum would be a surgery and months of therapy.

Personally, the way his shoulder bent back when he pancaked against the wall, I feel he won't be back this season.

Depending on the labrum tear, he might be able to play then get surgery in the offseason. Hopefully he misses less time because it’s not his throwing shoulder

Confirmed that it was a dislocation. Seems likely an anterior location based on the mechanism. Thankfully X-ray negative. Some labral issues also show some bony abnormalities (bankart lesion). If guts he misses about a month and probably wears a shoulder brace to play this season.

Well, I guess there was a fracture. I’m guessing it probably was a bankart lesion though, and doesn’t change much. Hopefully someone steps up and they aren’t too far back when he returns
