I retired the first of April. We were going to do almost a year long trip around the country in our new trailer but I just talked to a guy and his wife renting his house in East Wenatchee. We will definitely be on the road until Late June going from Moorpark and hour north of LA up the CA and OR coast into WA.
First off, congrats on the retirement. Good for you, man. Second, that sounds like a fantastic trip. The Oregon coast is really incredible. And so many microbreweries :D
So why are you renting a house in Wenatchee?
I lived in that town for a year. It is a nice little town. The public transit takes you to the ski resort. Nestled right in there on the Columbia. Nice spot.

A link to Noah Fant's draft profile

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/new ... team-fits/

Height: 6-foot-4

Weight:249 pounds

Arms:33 1/2 inches

Hands: 9 3/4 inches

That dude ran a 4.5 40 and had a 39.5" vertical :!:

If this drafted TE Arroyo is as good as some people think, we could have a dynamic offense.

I think arroyo is fants replacement, believe they be saving money, Fant is pretty expensive.

On arroyo, that's the type of offense they are supposed to be running
.His best fit at the next level will be with a creative offensive coordinator who can maximize his receiving ability while continuing to develop his blocking technique. Teams running heavy play-action concepts from 12 personnel should be particularly intrigued by what Arroyo brings to the table - his ability to sell the run before releasing into routes makes him an ideal weapon for that style of offense

This might help...

Name RAS
Taylor Mays 9.86
Kam Chancellor 3.22

https://ras.football/2020/01/24/taylor-mays-ras/
https://ras.football/2020/01/05/kam-chancellor-ras/
The issue wasn't Kam, it was Earl. Mays was FURIOUS that his old college coach took Earl instead of him. Both of our Safeties panned out, but I'm not so sure that Taylor wouldn't have made a damn good SS in the right system. Seems like he just wasn't fast enough to play free.

Didn't SF play him at strong safety?

I don't remember, most likely. I just never understood all the talk about Pete taking Earl instead. Never seemed even like a comparison. If he wanted a FS, why the Hell would anyone even question it besides the fact that Pete coached and recruited Taylor?

Fant offers the biggest cap savings if they cut him but they would be pretty thin at TE if they cut him.

Yeah i seriously doubt they'd cut Fant. Not with Arroyo's injury history. But they almost certainly won't be offering him a new contract unless it involves a significant pay cut.

Guess it come down to how arroyo looks. If Fant can win the starting role, arroyo goes to the bench for a season. If it's the other way around I can't see how you would justify paying Fant $9 mil as second string

Seemed that played Barner and Fant pretty equally last season. Not sure if they think of anyone is First and Second string.
