Independence Day GT
Re: Independence Day GT
A friend of mine, former colleague, retired last year and moved to Tennessee.
We text back and forth most Mariner and Seahawk games.
This morning I predicted 2 or 3 Cal home runs today.....YAY Me!!!
Also, Judge hit #32. Keep the distance Cal!

No way Judge maintains his BA. Call is going to win MVP if he just hits 15 more bombs.

~ ~SEATTLE -- In one epic swing on Friday afternoon, Cal Raleigh reached physical territory that few right-handed power hitters have approached at T-Mobile Park, while also reaching statistical territory that remains a marvel for his historic home-run pace in what’s shaping up to be one of the all-time great seasons for a catcher, a Mariner and more.
Raleigh demolished his 34th home run in the first inning of Seattle’s series opener vs. Pittsburgh, ambushing a 3-1 fastball from left-hander Bailey Falter and sending it sailing -- a whopping Statcast-projected 433 feet -- into the third-to-last row of the bleachers well beyond left field.
So emphatic was the hack that Raleigh halted for a brief stop-and-stare then slightly pinwheeled his bat down the first-base line before beginning his trot.
At 115.2 mph off the bat, it was the hardest-hit ball of Raleigh’s career, for any batted ball and from either side of the plate. At No. 34 on the season, it tied his career high set last year, when he led all Major League catchers in homers. And it extended his MLB lead in the category in 2025, even after second-place Aaron Judge went deep vs. the Mets earlier Friday.

He's completely lost and he's hurting the team. He's an automatic out and rarely even makes contact anymore. Are Jerry and Dan both brain dead?

Maybe Moore should only bat against righties.
