The only thing consistent about the 2025 Mariners is that they have been inconsistent. When I think they are going to free fall (which they have at times) they go on a little bit of a run. Then when they start that run they get swept by the Orioles and go 1-5 vs the Angels and Snakes. Difficult to predict what is next or how they will play. I do think they matchup well vs the Yankees and are definitely catching them at the right time.

We'll see how the series shakes out. I haven't heard an update on Victor Robles in forever. I thought he was due back by the all-star break. Is he not going to play again this season? Seems weird his name hasn't been mentioned in awhile unless I missed it.

Go Mariners!

Interesting, at this point the injury seems to be healed
Robles (shoulder) may advance to baseball activities before the end of July, but he is not expected back before September, MLB.com reports.

Robles began the strength-building portion of his rehab from a dislocated left shoulder in early June, which is expected to last around six weeks before he advances to light baseball activity, and as of June 30 Robles was on track in his rehab. If he avoids setbacks, the strength-building portion of his rehab could conclude in mid-to-late July, at which point he should be able to advance to baseball activity. It's not an exact timeline, as there could be setbacks or Robles could advance quicker than expected for the Mariners, but September has been mentioned twice during the process as an expected return date

He got caught stealing hamburgers and is currently serving jail time in McNuggetville. So unless Mayor McCheese issues a pardon...

I don't know, Yankees don't really scare me these days. Giancarlo and his .637 OPS at dh, Oswald Peraza anybody?

Maybe they should hire the A-team to help them defeat the big bad Yankees and their crooked umps...

Unfortunately, the M's seem to be the cure for DH's who have .637 OPS or less.
