The man is two bombs away from HISTORY!

If I was him I'd be up there swinging out of my shoelaces!!!

GO CAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
But if he keeps doing that pitchers will adjust. Julio is case in point.

It's been 92 games and 38 bombs. When will they find out and adjust?

I am not concerned about his OBP over a 10 game stretch, on the other hand...six home runs in 10 games is pretty stinking good!

So all of his hits being HRs indicates nothing? I wonder what his K-rate and fly ball rates have looked like. I'm just worried that he has changed his approach in a way that pitchers can take advantage of once they adjust to it.

talk about prophetic posts, me from last season on Cal...remember cautioning we were expecting too much out of him terms of his offense
Yeah, hes putting up better numbers than Wilson so far. I've said before I think it's unrealistic to expect him as a catcher to carry the offense. That he delivers home runs is terrific

Witnessing history. Don't take it for granted. Might end up being an unbreakable record given how man games catchers get off a season.

Only 50 times has a player hit 50 HR or more in a season. That 50 HR in a season has been accomplished by 32 players. The most 50 HR seasons in a career are shared by Babe and Mark with 4 each.

The next HR he hits he will join that exclusive club. With each HR he is basically climbing over somebody from here on out.
