My prediction was for 83 wins. Officially it might not count since I think I made a couple of days after opening day, but the point is that I think you and I are in the right neighborhood. This team has flamed out. They will be lucky to win 10 or 12 games this month.

THEY don't all say that, but the Mariners sure do. Depressing. And I imagine it all repeats. We will enter next year with a very flawed lineup, most likely replacing Naylor and Suarez with Trash and Garbage, the bullpen will be lacking and the starting staff will be the exact same. They will count on staying close to maintain interest of the fan base and then try to add a bat at the deadline so they don't have to pay for a full year of service. Can't wait.
