They're watching everybody's pitch counts. I think the Logan injury scared them rather than waking them up to the fact that PCs don't matter. Kirby doesn't need to be built up extensively to handle 80. One more start and he'll be at 60 pitches and ready to handle an 80p workload. Any less, and you might as well just toss him in the bullpen. I mean what are we even doing here?
