I can't wait to watch these guys on Tuesday in Camden Yards.

They reshaped the wall again for like the 3rd year in a row. 29 non-homerun balls in 2024 would be home runs in 2025.
And yet it hasn't really helped the Orioles. They are a last place team this year.

This M's squad is homerun happy. Should be fun to watch them knock a bunch out.

I remember the "original" Camden before 2021 when it was a matchbox. Even smaller than Yankee imho.
I will be there Wednesday. Solid pitching match solid lefty against Logan. Gonna be a tough one.

occurs to me...Is Naylor sorta channeling Larry Walker?...kinda looks like him, he's been hitting like Larry, the stolen bases?

he's got a point, the way they overcame that
“If the Mariners end up winning the division, if they end up winning a couple rounds of the postseason, if they end up going to the World Series for the first time in franchise history, I’m going to go back to that game they lost in New York when Woo was pitching a no-hitter and they somehow lost it,” Morosi said. “What a completely deflating game that was. And then they go to Detroit, they win the series in Detroit.”

NAILOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LINE FREAKIN DRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you see the replay. Dude even looks pissed off after hitting a bomb. Love that guy! Why in the FUCK didn't we trade for him in the off season. We would have a 3 game lead right now.
yeah, I remember everybody just being interested in picking up Gino, I was the one with the deal for the pair
I'll eat some crow on that one. It was huge get in retrospect for many reasons.

1. Raley got hurt: He went down 7/25 and we got Naylor about the second Raley got hurt. Is it correlation vs causation. It doesn't matter because it increases Naylor's value.

2. I didn't know before this year that Naylor was such an astute student of the game. Most folks are thinking about him gaming up those steals. But today I heard him talking about the pitcher having a tell, on the pitch he yanked for a big home run.

3. The defense. He's made a number of great plays. He's got great baseball energy. The other day he was on 2nd after a SB and the way he positioned himself was off the bag but right in the line of the throw so he forced the defender to adjust and even with the out being recorded at 1B. I noticed.

4. "UP" He was hitting .280 .333 .520 .853 (144 OPS+) in his 1st 14 games as an M. In the sweep game (#15) today vs the Rays he went 1-2 with a HBP, BB, an HR, and him and Julio doing a double bag swipe which resulted in a balk. That directly resulted in Geno's 2RBI single. 11/11 in stolen bases in 15 games.

Let's freaking GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

At his current pace, Cal will hit 61 HR's in 162 games. Can he keep it up? Probably not. But DAMN!

interesting, thanks...There has to be a story behind the steals, that's just too crazy. That lineup is beginning to look a little scary, compared to what we would heap abuse on, if the pitching would stiffen up

Eugenio Suarez has been hitting a solid 2 OPS+ with us in the 10 games since he was traded

Josh Naylor has been hitting a solid 167 OPS+ with us in the 15 games since he was traded and in those 10 games has more steals than he has ever had in an entire season.
