Thats what he said, if you want to interpret it as meaning he's playing his starters go for it"Everybody's live, everybody's ready to go,"

Re: Training Camp thread
DeMarcus Lawrence, the veteran mentor, probably valuable having a guy like that on a pretty young team
"Just the way he does everything, everything is very intentional," Hall said. "It's like perfect timing the way he came in. The way he goes about his business, it's second to none."
Early in camp, Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald lauded Lawrence for the attention to detail with which he practices, calling him "the best drill player I've ever seen in my life."
"That's the standard that he's setting for our front," Macdonald said. "So the guys don't have a choice but to fall in line. It's just exciting to see him out there working. You know what he can do on the field. The tape speaks for itself. But you understand how it comes to life based on how he works."
The Seahawks see the 33-year-old Lawrence as a much more physical run defender than what they had last season with Jones, even though the latter was roughly 15 pounds heavier.
"This is probably the best compliment I have: He looks like a giant on film," Macdonald said. "So hopefully that paints a picture for you. I don't know what his actual measurements are. I think he's 6-3 and something, 250 and something, but that's how he plays."

Tyrice Knight, the starting weakside linebacker next to Jones in Macdonald’s defense, will miss the next couple weeks. He has a new “medical issue” the coach would not specify Saturday, on top of the knee he injured in practice last week.
“We expect him to be back for week one,” Macdonald said. Josh Ross is also injured at that position. He has a cast on a surgically repaired hand.

i know we lament every pre-season Hawk injury, particularly in the thinner units like LB, but saw where Eagles lost perennial pro-Bowl Guard Landon Dickerson today. That's a real loss, out for season - wonder if that finally puts some brakes on the Brotherly Shove.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sun Aug 10, 2025 8:35 amTyrice Knight, the starting weakside linebacker next to Jones in Macdonald’s defense, will miss the next couple weeks. oh, and forgot to mention stalwart LT Rashawn Slater for the Chargers down too - had thought Harbaugh's crew could challenge KC for the divison this year, not so much anymore.57reasons wrote: ↑Mon Aug 11, 2025 5:27 ami know we lament every pre-season Hawk injury, particularly in the thinner units like LB, but saw where Eagles lost perennial pro-Bowl Guard Landon Dickerson today. All aboard, the Bradford hype train, hope its true
"AB [Bradford] has made great strides," Kubiak said. "Obviously he’s a physical presence, but you see more consistency in his game throughout camp, so I see a guy that’s playing more confident."

I'm shocked...I thought Nwosu was done for the season, on injured reserve. seriously, had no idea
Seattle Seahawks outside linebacker Uchenna Nwosu passed his physical Sunday, clearing the way for one of the team's defensive leaders to get back onto the practice field.
Exactly when Nwosu will return to game action is still unclear. Coach Mike Macdonald said Sunday that it's too early to know about Nwosu's availability for Week 1, but that based on the team's preliminary timetable, he is expected to be ready by "around the start of the season."

92.9 PFF...there ya go. I was thinking of the "physical presence" thing, I mean he is.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Wed Aug 13, 2025 3:54 pmAll aboard, the Bradford hype train, hope its true"AB [Bradford] has made great strides," Kubiak said. tossing Mazi smith down from his rookie seasonwhat Shane Waldron and Andy Dickerson saw in Bradford are the same things Ryan Grubb and Scott Huff saw in Bradford, which are the same things Klint Kubiak and John Benton see in Bradford. Pure size and strength. And he brings a fiery attitude.

We have critical depth right now for our 53 and probable practice squad. Every player knows someone else's job or two and can step in, especially on offense for a change. They have been coached-up by the best and are young and hungry on D. I think we are on the ups this year and could grab the NFC West, home playoff game and a win.
