GT 8/20: GarvMooreSolano
Re: GT 8/20: GarvMooreSolano
Castillos ERA is better than his pitching this year. His whip was 1.27 before this game. His k/9 is down 2 from last year. His fastball is down 2 mph from when we got him, and he struggles against good teams, so I don’t expect him to be good in the playoffs. He’s been antennas on the road this year. Offload him in the offseason, don’t even care what you get, then sign a free agent for a year.
If he could have even gone through 5 we had a decent chance, but our good relievers couldn’t get more than 0.2 innings and we were left with Saucedo

Why was he even on the roster? His WHIP was something like 2.36 and they wasted a roster spot holding on to him while he nursed some injury. This organization is insane

Cleveland is scuffling but I think Kc will be a game or 2 out with this loss. So no hypes on the way home. This team cannot have a day off tomorrow they need a whole day team meeting tomorrow this is embarrassing. Sadly I think we all knew we weren't gonna win any of these 3 gamesMichael K. wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 7:29 pmHow long before KC or Cleveland, or both catch us and we fall out of the last WC spot? A week? Ten days? I'd set the over under at 10 days and probably take the under. This sucks.
U wanna know a true leadoff hitter look at Turner he is one of the best!!!

Why does nobody know how to pitch anymore? And Saucedo needs to be designated already.
This org loves to cling to garbage for far too long.

45 hits so far for PHI this series. Just remarkable...

This is not a playoff worthy team
Re: GT 8/20: GarvMooreSolano
It was the same in NY - 36 hits by the Mets - our pitching has just been beyond awful this road trip. The only saving grace, and irritation, is that the astro's and wild card chasers all did the same thing this week.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Wed Aug 20, 2025 7:45 pm45 hits so far for PHI this series. All leadership is out the window. Scott was not the problem or at least Dan was not the solution either.

It's not, and again...I suspect the standing will reflect that very soon. Amazing how quickly the bottom fell out. We make the moves we thought would set us straight, win ten out of eleven games, and then turn into a pumpkin. Only the Mariners. I knew it was too good to be true. It's well past time for me to stop paying attention again. I sure hope I have a more enjoyable fall with the Huskies and Seahawks, but I am starting to believe that it doesn't matter who I root for, they are going to be mediocre to shitty!
