This is not a playoff worthy team
All leadership is out the window. Scott was not the problem or at least Dan was not the solution either.
The amount of blame placed on SS was laughable. And giving Wilson a month and then just handing him the job? Typical Mariner bullshit. They probably asked Wilson ten questions, and since he answered all ten yes? They knew he was their man.

Well I predicted 12-2. I was close, but had teams flipped.

Lau doesn't bring much. There's nothing plus that I can see. The slider doesn't bite at all.

48 hits for the series for PHI. 16 per game. Absolutely embarrassing and unacceptable. Wilson has lost the team...

The Mariners have been schooled. Seriously schooled. They have to sit in the hallway wearing dunce caps. No cap and gowns for them.

I was just about to post that.

You know what really killed us this series, were those rain delays and the zigzagging travel related to the Little League Classic. I mean, these performances have been extremely out of the ordinary and that other stuff had to have had a lot to do with it. I guess we'll know for sure after the off day tomorrow and this weekend's series with the A'ss.

45 hits so far for PHI this series. Just remarkable...
It was the same in NY - 36 hits by the Mets - our pitching has just been beyond awful this road trip. The only saving grace, and irritation, is that the astro's and wild card chasers all did the same thing this week.
Sadly Asstros could go scoreless for a month and we won't catch up. This team is just not good. They have spurts like all teams but sadly they aren't hard headed enough to win. They fold way too easily. Horrible horrible vibes heading home. No day off tomorrow. Gotta have meetings or something to get this team to regroup!!!
