This just came up in my YouTube feed, Canadian snowbirds abandoning Florida: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cq01YsE2GYc&t=195s

This is entirely anecdotal, but I spoke to one of my cousins in Vancouver about a week ago and she said people are generally avoiding crossing the border unless they really need to. There's a lot of resentment against the tariffs and some nervousness about harassment from border agents. People still go, just not as much.
I think there's more than anecdotal evidence
AI Overview
The U.S. tourism industry is currently facing a significant decline in international travel, with a projected 8.2% decrease in overnight arrivals for 2025 according to Oxford Economics. This decline is projected to result in a loss of $12.5 billion in travel revenue for the year. Several factors are contributing to this downturn, including the strength of the U.S. dollar, concerns about border security and immigration policies, and the perception of a less welcoming environment for international visitors.

Serious question: How do you tell which of Trump's comments are inane? Canadian should become the 51st state? We are going to buy Greenland? Threatening strikes on Iran? Insisting that Putin needed to agree to a cease fire?
For me, the only answer to that question is my earlier comment...

Politics is theater for the masses, and the masses have fallen for it... hook, line and sinker.

But I do think there's a difference between threatening strikes on Iran versus 'buying a country'.
I was on a work trip in Europe immediately before Bush ("W") invaded Iraq. I remember a couple of Europeans (acting like they were speaking for most Europeans) saying that invading Iraq was a crazy idea. But that Bush was just crazy enough to actually do it.

Fast forward 20+ years. Bombing Iran was a crazy idea, no? But President Trump is crazy enough he did it. It he crazy enough to "annex" Greenland? Or Canada?

Perhaps he's crazier than that, crazy enough to threaten missile strikes against Greenland and Canada and take them over (with minimal harm of course). Wouldn't want to damage prospective goods.

Come on Gil. There is a huge difference between attacking a country and invading a country.

Just another group of people who have fallen victim to Trump's polarization factor and afford him more attention than he deserves.
Ya God forbid they dislike the toddler in chief and hold him accountable for saying stupid shit.
Well, they are a high percentage of moronic socialists up there. Travel is down 30%, so at least 70% realize that some puppet show fake politics on TV shouldn't decide whether they go to Disney Land.
