Again.
Another waste of great pitching because we cannot score enough runs.
Dan Wison is the Peter Principal.
He is incompetent.
The players have TONS of talent but no accountability.
These are pro players that don't know how to "manufacturer runs"???
There's like 25 games left.
Where is the desperation?
Houston has gained another critical game in the win column.
Im still waiting for this team to wake the EFF UP!!!

It's an okay strategy if you get the bunt down. In this case you would've got the ghost to 3rd, but also the winning run to second base. They blew the bunt, and then they still had a chance to win. The plan was okay unless you just think Robles is a terrible bunter. It was poor execution more than mismanagement. They had 3 hits in 10 innings.mostonmike wrote: ↑Sun Aug 24, 2025 4:39 am
Absolutely - you've got 2 on with 0 outs, why surrender the momentum? Someone else pointed out they had even brought the infield in.
For some reason their extra inning strategy is fixated around the free runner. They are obsessed with trying to advance him from 2nd to 3rd without thinking that one base hit scores a run (tonight it would tie the game). They would have been better off trying a double steal which would remove the double play opportunity and hopefully get the ghost to 3rd anyway.
They don't think like that in a normal inning, even if they are trailing.
