nothing there about feeling he was being intentionally thrown at. I think he regrets throwing his bat, going to leave it at that
"I want to take a moment to sincerely apologize for my recent reaction on the field. I let my frustration get the best of me, and I understand how that may have affected not just the game, but the energy and respect we all work so hard to maintain.

"Coming off a long rehab and being away from the game for most of the season has been physically and mentally challenging. Adding to that, the recent passing of my mother has been incredibly hard, and I've been doing my best to hold it together. That's not an excuse, but some context I feel you deserve to understand where I'm coming from.

"Getting hit 5 times in 15 at-bats added to that pressure, and I reacted in a way I'm not proud of. This game means the world to me, and so do the people who play it. I respect every one of you – my teammates, the opposing players, and everyone in this league.

"I'm committed to being better, not just as a player, but as a teammate and competitor. I appreciate your understanding, and I'm grateful to be back on the field doing what I love.

"Thank you."
He would have gotten shredded by retards for not takimg complete responsibility.

It's a nice apology letter.

I'm just not one of the fans who think an apology was necessary. I wish the bat took that chumps teeth out if he actually hit Robles three times, he deserved it.

Jesus, no one said he doesn't regret throwing the bat! What are you trying to argue here? You think it wasn't intentional, five fucking times at one hitter from one team, three by one pitcher. Or, is it that you don't think our team should have come to his defense? Or, is it that now that you have been made to look foolish on those points, that he regrets throwing the bat? Of course he did, they suspended him for it, so he regrets it.

The entire thing was preventable, and it never should have gotten to the point were a fucking MLB player is playing at the AAA level trying to rehab and gets thrown at, three times, five times....I don't give a shit. The other team should have been punished, and our guys are spineless for doing nothing about it. Again, they should fire the Tacoma manager and fine every pitcher. It's AAA, who the fuck cares? You don't want to fire him? Fine, fine the shit out of him too for being a gutless wonder.

I'm not kidding....drill the next four batters. Warm up everyone in the pen so they KNOW this is what's coming. The cross river rivals played our HS team two years ago on a Friday night. A freshman kid hits a mammoth HR. He got thrown at not once but twice in his next at bat. Getting plunked on the second one. We pegged the leadoff hitter the next inning. No fights, the Umpire issued the warning, but EVERYONE knew what was coming. In a fucking HS game. And these fucking pussies getting paid to play the game watch it happen five times to the guy we want to be our starting OF, at the major league level...and just sit there chewing seeds and watching Tik Tok? It infuriates me how ridiculous this sport has become. Instead of Nolan Ryan throwing at guys and getting in fist fights, they all hug and kiss cheeks, and AAA guys have no clue that a rehab assignment for a starter at the MLB level shouldn't result in five times being thrown at, with ZERO fucking retaliation?

I hope not one of those sissies pitching in Tacoma ever wear a Mariner uniform.

His teeth should have been knocked out by hitters on his own team after we drilled a shit load of them for having the audacity to throw at a ML player five times in a God Damn AAA game. If they think AAA is so important, how is it that we don't retaliate? Again, this is the part that is lost, and is a big reason this game is played by posers and social media influencers now and not ML ballplayers.

The wear every accessory you can think of, gold chains, rings, earrings, you name it. But don't know the first thing about what it takes to be a ballplayer. I think it also says a lot about this organization and it's fan base that no one seems to care that our Triple A organization is filled full of pussies and we should be seen as a laughing stock. But, since it's not all over Tik Tok? I guess no one cares. The Rainier organization should issue an apology, the Mariners should issue an apology. Yes, that's over the top, but I really do believe we look like a bunch of fucking gutless wonders. It wasn't that long ago that the Astros drilled us all the time, without retaliation, right? SO I guess I shouldn't be shocked.

Nothing to see here, just a few coincidental unintentional wild pitches. lol He hit him with the first pitch of the game a year ago. That it was started it and Robles finally retaliated.
The escalating conflict between Estes and Robles
The tension stems from a pattern of Robles being hit by pitches thrown by Estes.
September 2024: The friction began when Estes, pitching for the Oakland Athletics, hit Robles, then with the Washington Nationals, with a pitch during a major league game.
August 2025 (preceding the incident): During Robles's injury rehabilitation assignment with the Triple-A Tacoma Rainiers, he faced Estes, who was pitching for the Triple-A Las Vegas Aviators.
Robles was hit by pitches from Estes multiple times in a short span, adding to the earlier bad blood.
August 18, 2025 (the main incident): In a Triple-A game, Estes threw another inside pitch that clipped Robles. In a fit of frustration, Robles threw his bat in Estes' direction.
Robles was ejected from the game and later apologized on Instagram, citing his injury rehab and the recent death of his mother for his outburst.

Why did the freshman get thrown at? Because he is a freshman or because he hit a HR?

Yes and yes. LOL. I thought them throwing at him was pretty shitty, but of course....we had to retaliate. It happens in Softball. Our girls know you drop the bat and head to first, but they also know it won't get out of hand because we police our own. And we have kids that can throw hard. That is HS level. I think this organization is second rate in that aspect. You just don't repeatedly allow yourself to be the punching bag. It's chicken shit. And for a Major Leaguer to get thrown at that many times in a fucking AAA rehab stint...and NOTHING is done? Beyond chicken shit.

Again, that manager is a coward and that pitching staff is worse. It's AAA, get rid of all of them. Who the Hell cares? At the very least fine the ever loving shit out of them. I'd let that leak to. These fuckers are all about their images and brands. Leak that they all had to be fined for being spineless. Again, why not?

Oh, because it's a cowardly farm system run by a cowardly organization. Fuck, I'd have had them hit the batter, then pick up the ball and hit the on deck hitter as he was walking to the box. Again, why not!? In the immortal words of David G.? Just do it.

My point has been he shouldn't have thrown his bat, if he does in fact regret doing it then I will take that as agreeing with me

the point is he wasn't getting thrown at, none of them were intentional as far as i can tell, what reason would there be, i haven't seen anything about there being any hint of that. Okay, he got hit by five pitches, what exactly are the Mariners supposed to do about it? Find a league with pitchers with better control

I can't find anything that makes a hint of it being intentional. I don't think you are swinging at a pitch that is intentionally thrown at you. There seems to be an attitude that the Mariners should have done something about it, what exactly? Throwing his bat was a mistake, I'm confident he regrets doing it

Two of those times he swung at the pitch
That's within the last two pages on this topic. But yeah, all you cared about was if he regretted it. The dude got hit five fucking times by the same team, three by the same Pitcher, and in Donn World, it was all an accident. Jesus.
