Emerson is doing okay, but hardly dominating the level. I really hope the plan is to keep him in AA for all of 2026.

Agree. Solid for sure given his age but I am still waiting for a performance indicative of a #1 prospect in a #3 system. He hasn't been close to that....yet.

I don't know how you would compare them, Kurtz was the fourth overall pick in the 2024 draft, his development has been phenomenal but how would you compare that to a SS taken with the 21st pick in the 2022 draft?

You would need to look at their scouting profiles at various stages pre-draft and through the minors in order to compare them. I was just wondering if anyone was familiar with that so that i wouldn't need to look it up later. I chose Cole Young since he is the highest-rated prospect to join the team since Julio.

The difference is that SSS is more in line with the rest of his career and more indicative of what he is vs. his hot August. Emerson's .967 OPS the past 10 days isn't even close to what he has been to date.
