Charbonnet 15 carries for 10 yards. I wonder if for 10 yards or less that's an NFL record for most carries.
But? According to Donn? Opened it up for Walker. Can't make this shit up.
Where did I say that?

I've never seen a kickoff so butchered in my life! The soccer equivalent is an own goal lol. If you do that in soccer in Argentina, they find your body in the trunk of a burned out Peugeot the following week.
Couldn't believe he did that, and then luckily for us the ball stopped rolling juuuuuust before it would have gone out of the end zone.
George Holani Fan Club right here. I thought he might have gone out of the end zone before he had possession of the ball, but he scooped it perfectly. That ball came to rest like one of my putts I leave short. It just died lol. I had a sick feeling we were going to dump this game until that happened.
Yeah I thought he fumbled or never had control but with the other angle you could see had had it and then gave it up as he celebrated.

So it was about the bew riles...see Tomlin's response...
The follow-up inquiry was how much the team has practiced the kickoff return with the new rules installed this year.

Tomlin also kept his answer to that question brief.

“Every day of our lives,” said Tomlin

So what are the new rules, or "bew riles" as you like to call them...

I thought it has always been the rule that on a kickoff the ball is live in the endzone.

He touched it, so it would have been live regardless of the new rules. But, if the ball lands in the landing zone? It has to be covered in the end zone...I believe is how it was described today. But, again, he touched it. I believe in years passed of the ball skipped into the end zone untouched? It was a touchback. That seems to be different now.

Still doesn't matter...that's basically his only job. Plus, again, he freaking touched it. When in a football game can you touch a kick or a punt and then just let the other team cover it!?

So if he hadn't touched it would it have been a live ball in the end zone anyway? And why did Myers kick the ball so short in the first place? ( I didn't see the telecast).

I'm not pretending to actually know the new rules, but there's new rules on the funky kick off this year.

the short kicks are intentional now - you want to land it between the goal line and the 10 typically, to make opponents have to field it. kicking deep brings it out to the 30 now instead of the 25, which replaced the 20 from years ago. most coverage teams think they can stop them short of the 30 on a shorter kick, especially given the extra hang time kickers give it now that they're not aiming for max distance.
