okay, but if its obviously flawed why are they publishing it. That theory seems to be based on them being idiotsSibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 3:11 pmThat seems flawed because they are giving each league a 50% chance of winning the WS. The Brewers, Phillies and Dodgers are probably the three best teams in MLB and would be favored against any AL opponent including the Mariners.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Sat Sep 20, 2025 2:07 pminteresting, I could see them best in the AL but the NL as well? I was just pondering that, the Phillies, Mets Dodgers ect seem like another level. why are the brewers so low? I wonder what that is based on

Re: Scoreboard Watch.
My assumption was wrong, they didn't set it to 50/50 it just came out that way but is actually AL 50.6% NL 49.4%. So they must see the AL teams overall as being as good as the NL teams overall or actually think the Mariners are as gkod as the Phillies etc.

So the Mariners' odds have dropped from 15.1% to 13.9% since last night? Must be because of Woo's injury.

Atlanta beats Tigers. We are 1/2 game up on the Tigers. Actually 1.5 with the tie breaker.

Re: Scoreboard Watch.
they really aren't that bad a team
They became the fourth team to have three players with at least 20 homers and 20 steals in the same season, joining the 1988 Mets (Howard Johnson, Kevin McReynolds and Darryl Strawberry), the 2003 Yankees (Alfonso Soriano, Aaron Boone and Raul Mondesi) and the 2009 Phillies (Jimmy Rollins, Chase Utley and Jayson Werth). Naylor, like Boone and Mondesi in 2003, reached those marks across two different teams.
