To Play:
Tigers: 3 @ CLE, 3 @ BOS
Indians: 3 v DET, 3 v TEX
Astros 3 @ ATH, 3 @ LAA

Next up....
Tigers 85-71
vs
Guardians 84-72

Did it slightly slip under the radar they face each other starting Tuesday?

A 2-1 series win for Cleveland might be the best result for us but it doesnt matter at this stage with destiny firmly in our hands. That will be a fun series to keep an eye on though, for sure.

Mariners 87-69, of course.

And Detroit was 9 games ahead of Cleveland in the Central just 10 games ago. Wow.

It's very realistic that Detroit misses the playoffs, given their schedule (Cleveland then the Red Sox) while the Astros slip back in (series against the As and the Angels).

Toronto is the only team in the league that has locked down a playoff spot, but they are not a lock for #1 seed because the Yankees could realistically overtake them. The Yankees are only 1 game ahead of us, but finish with series against the White Sox and the Orioles.

It's a great week to be a baseball fan!

I went to get gas today and the workers were talkin That Astros series was the best they had seen. "The way Robles defied gravity and flew in to catch that game ender" was a statement I heard. I also heard them talking about the Etsy witch. They have the bat, the SP look to be rounding into shape, The BP has been nails as of late.

I am still in the we needed another closer/SU Ace for the BP. But we just have to roll with what we got.

Didn’t slip in fact their remaining schedule is in our favor, alas A’s have been tough and wouldn’t be surprised if they take 2 from the stros

Houston is .500 against the A's (4-6) and Angels (6-4) this season. I think the division will be clinched in the next 3 days. Maybe even tomorrow.
