The 4-1 Buccaneers are the most exciting team in the NFL. In each of their four wins, they scored the winning points in the final minute of the game, and in their only loss they were driving in a two-minute drill that came up short.

Mayfield was unbelievable Sunday, completing 29-of-33 passes for 379 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a back-and-forth, thrilling victory over Seattle. He has 10 touchdown passes and one interception in five games. It's also worth noting that Mayfield, in his third season in Tampa Bay, is already on his third offense coordinator because the previous two are now head coaches elsewhere.

Depth at cb, but Nwosu and Mafe are/were suppose to be our starters and they did next to nothing. Same with big Kay and Murphy. Murphy is suppose to be a guy to rushes from inside. Well, he got owned. Knight and jones are starters and got pick apart in short passing. So, this is on the dline doing nothing.

Agree mostly although Mafe is a backup to Nwosu on the strong side. Lawrence is the starter on the weak side backed up by Hall.

MM took the blame for the loss, and I am willing to give it to him. I think what you had was the Seahawks thin in the secondary and TB scheming to take advantage of it. To me, that was more than getting outplayed on a talent level, defenders simply were not there in the secondary, that was MM not responding. As they say, not having his players in position to win. And there was the tackling, which I will credit Seaside for bringing up.

“I have to do better with our defensive game plan, in our execution, and how we call it,” Macdonald told reporters following the loss. “When you put a performance like that, it means that I didn’t prepare them well enough.”

The Seahawks head coach appeared upset about a lot of aspects from the play of his defense Sunday. But Macdonald particularly criticized his unit’s tackling.

“We’re not doing the things that we’re trained to do, and when it doesn’t come to life on the field,” Macdonald added. “I’m responsible… it didn’t come to life today. So, it’s my responsibility. But we’ll definitely be looking at that. We missed way too many tackles.”
