Re: Gerald McCoy?
Does he fit our scheme? Is he a 3-tech? if so yes. Ain't gonna get much on the market at this point. Can't imagine him getting anything more than a 2 year deal at this point.
Re: Gerald McCoy?
He's a "kick the offensive line's a**" Tech is what he is. The market for him is heating up. Visit with Browns Friday, Bengals and Ravens are on his list.HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 9:57 pmDoes he fit our scheme? Is he a 3-tech? if so yes. How high would you go. I'd say max I'd go would be 4 at the very most & probably 10 mill/year. Give him a reason to come here. Ravens & Browns really. Browns are definitely on the rise but Ravens really? John make him an offer he can't refuse.ThePro wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 10:05 pmHe's a "kick the offensive line's a**" Tech is what he is. He is 31 yo.. I would not sign him to a 4 yr contract. 1 year 10 mil should do it but are the Hawks willing to go that high? Does he even want to play here? If he visits those first 3 teams without a contract then you know that was to set the market. Hawks , Cowboys and Colts will be up next..HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Thu May 23, 2019 10:21 pm

The Colts have something like $54 million in cap space. If they want him they got him.

Look at the article Clayton put out. Why he'd want come here. Stable well run organization. Consistent. I'd say better overall team. Who's D is better at the moment ours or Indys. Who's scheme does he fit better in. Lots of factors come into play besides money, at this point I'd say he probably favors playoffs over money.
Re: Gerald McCoy?
Exactly .. Browns have more cap space too. And to answer the "Whose defense is better?" The Colts in every statistical category.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2019 2:16 amThe Colts have something like $54 million in cap space. If they want him they got him.

Who's a better playoff contender. Indy's gotta deal with Houston. Who's been more consistent. Who plays in a better division.ThePro wrote: ↑Fri May 24, 2019 3:19 amExactly ..
