Why does the offense always turn to crap in the 4th quarter with a lead?
Because they get conservative.

Defensive minded coach... it's pretty similar to the Carroll era.
Was that throw to Barner conservative?
Nope, and it worked. So, is your point that all the times they were conservative before was the right call, or the wrong call?

No.

But the previous 3 drives where they ran for nothing vs heavy stacks and refused to take chances in the passing game were.

It's why they lost the previous week.
its hard for me to blame being too conservatives for the loss the previous week, they went on fourth in 2 with a TD pass when a FG would have gave them the lead.

Late to the party, but the three straight nothing run plays by Charbonnet resulting in a field goal was hard to watch.

But they got the W.

I just think the Hawks hurt themselves all the time by trying to force the run when the defense is doing everything in their power to take it away.

It feels like Darnold could have thrown for 400 today... but the coaches are trying to jam a square peg into a round hole.

It sucks to say but Kenneth Walker doesn't fit what I think this team wants to do in the run game. He's just not a power back. Charbs is but he's too slow to get going.

They need a bruiser who can carry guys for a few yards. Neither of these guys can.

I think those run plays that even though they might have been stuffed is what set up that pass to Barner. You do have to respect the run against the seahawks now, and yeah they stuff the box, but that's what happened as a result. Its about the relationship between the two, run and pass.

Sure, but how many other teams in the NFL waste 3 possessions with a lead hoping to set up a broken coverage play to a tight end?

It seems insane to try to control the clock/field with the run considering what our secondary is missing. It was just inviting JAX back into the game.

The good: 7 sacks, Dickson 7 punts 360 yards
The bad: 1 for 12 on 3rd down, 26 carries for 60 yards
The ugly: allowing JAC to convert 3 of 3 4th down attempts

that they can go on the road across the country and control a game to that extent is impressive to me
