Hawks 2nd best 4-2 team in the DVOA era.

Look at the fluky way our two losses ended, not that we would have necessarily beaten Tampa Bay, but we had San Fran on the ropes before Lucas' butt knocked the ball out of Darnold's hand.
Even the INT against Tampa was kinda fluky like that. Watching that Tampa game? I thought we were going to win. The 49er game didn't feel that way. Funny that now, looking back? The Niner game should have been the one we won. Too bad they have a new kicker now! :P

This game was a rarity for me in that I did not see it from start to finish, as my daughter was getting married.
But seven sacks is a lot. Jacksonville was supposed to be good. Many of the top teams from the previous two
years are doing much worse record wise than the Seahawks. Some of those teams will turn it back around.
I think we can take pride in the team for not falling off a cliff, as was predicted. Of course, that's not enough
for us couch warriors. We want it all and should.
I refuse to crown Darnold, as I fear it would curse him. I will relish every great play he makes and probably
apologize for him if he falters, on a short leash. There will be players to emerge and some will undoubtedly
disappoint. We've been hit by a moderate wave of injuries and continued on pretty well. I feel good about things.

Congrats on the wedding! Also, who dares schedule a wedding on a Sunday during football season? :D

I read an interview with one of the coaches, maybe MM, who said Seattle intentionally used a very conservative game plan because Jaxonville was so good at getting turnovers - they wanted to eliminate that risk - so the game plan was conservative by design - to counter the strength of the Jax defense. I thought that was pretty ingenious insight - shows the depth of game planning. I think that explains a lot about why the offense looked the way they did - conservative - then BOOM - big plays.

Lost one because a butt caused a fumble and the other because a head cause a pick. Can't make it up.

Unfortunately it was Courtney Love and Reese Witherspoon.

Which reminds me of a joke.

-No, with a knife!
