Toronto having a big inning in the 6th. Hitters are swinging under control, just trying to put the ball in play, and it's working quite well for them. Really wish the Mariners would adopt this strategy. I hate the HR or strikeout strategy with every hitter swinging out of their shoes. That's not real baseball, and it's not the way the game is meant to be played.

Unfortunately I don't see it changing until Dipoto is gone, which will not happen after an ALCS appearance. Probably going to get a lengthy extension.

I never thought the Dodgers would be a shoo-in.

They waltzed into the World Series, Toronto had to slog it out.

Other than his one big game, Ohtani has choked.

Interestingly, when he was with the Angels, the Ms held him at bay.

Don't these players all have their own hitting instructors? I doubt Jerry has been bribing them into getting the players to adopt an all or nothing batting approach. And it's highly unlikely that the players would take hitting instructions from a former relief pitcher. Perhaps they just figure that T-Mobile is going to take away singles and doubles so they are better off swinging for the fences.

Yamamoto just did what no Mariner pitcher could possibly ever do. Now there's an ACE.
Complete game 105 pitches.

Eat your heart out Jerry.

There are only three things I would less rather do than watch the WS.

1. Do a cannon ball into an Active Volcano wearing only a thong.
2. Pluck my eyeball out with a rusty spoon
3. Watch Anthony Bradford try to play football.
