More people than if there wasn't an 18 inning game. Your point is only valid if you think these games deter people from watching more, because they all start in prime time. Dunno, but those last 70-80 ABs or so that Dilly had were probably the worst we've ever seen in franchise history. Even Mario Mendoza never had a stretch like that. Sure but they don't lose anything. It is all incremental to what they would have had if it was just a 9 inning game. I stayed up. I thought it was a fun game to watch. The last thing I am going to do is feel sorry for someone in the Eastern Time Zone. I don't think it makes sense to play a game in LA, and move the time so it doesn't impact those in New York.
