Just wondering, why did everyone put so many points on Atlanta to win yesterday? Seems like we all got duped by the media along with the rest of the nation. Some insiders probably made major coin on that game though.

I have no clue why I let Atlanta fool me. I swear that they could have prime Barry Sanders and Calvin Johnson and make them irrelevant. Bijan is the best back in the game, and Sunday he had 9 carries for 25 yards and 3 catches on 3 targets for another 23 yards. The Dolphins are 28th in Total Defense and 29th against the run, and that is AFTER destroying Atlanta on Sunday.

No Drake London, so you'd think that would mean more looks for Bijan against a bad Dolphin team, not fewer. Some guy named Nathan Carter had two carries, and every Atlanta coach's favorite son Tyler Algier for some reason pirates more carries from Bijan.

No Drake London, so Darnell Mooney gets FOUR targets? I guess it makes sense since the following absolute playmakers received 12

Khadarel Hodge
Casey Washington
David Sills V

Kyle Pitts did get 9 targets, which makes sense, but his long reception was 24. He caught all 9 or his targets, so the other 8 targets amassed 35 yards. That's right, 4.4 yards per attempt.

If I cared enough about this pick um, I'd probably log in Sunday morning, and make some changes. But I hate moving shit around to reassign the confidence points...it's just not something I want to spend time on the weekend doing. It is a serious pain in the ass on my phone, so unless I want to log into my computer, which again, is something I don't really do much on the weekend? Nothing is getting changed after I leave work on Friday.

That said, who thought that Kirk Cousins would do anything close to resembling an NFL QB? I didn't even know he was starting until I turned the radio on for the drive home from Winthrop. He is toast. 21/31 for 173 yards? They just hoped to dink and dunk the Dolphins to death, and thought they could win a game where Bijan gets 12 touches? There is something about Atlanta that makes offensive football coaches decide that mediocre players deserve star treatment.

Algier, Nathan Carter, KhaDarel Hodge, Casey Washington and David Sills V received a combined 20 carries or targets. Imagine losing a game where you offense is putrid and watching those guys continue to get looks? Does the ball need to be spread around? Not sure, since JSN seems to gobble up all the targets in our offense, but maybe get everyone involved. Does that mean KhaDarel Hodge gets 8 targets so he can catch 3 balls for 31 yards? That's less than four yards per attempt. It's pathetic. Fantasy Football makes me hate some teams, and I can't stand Atlanta. So many playmakers, and so many looks for dudes that shouldn't get looks. It's like the season that Russ thought Hollander was a fucking playmaker, and the dude would get into a car wreck four yards short of the sticks on every third down catch. But Russ kept giving him more.

I didn't watch the game, so maybe the Dolphins resurrected the Killer B's defense, but I highly doubt it. Atlanta is a fucking cell pool.

Yeah I literally NEVER change anything after Wednesday. I think I did a couple times a few years ago to steal a weekly win or something but never since.

The only game I changed was switching SF to Houston about an hour before kickoff. I usually futz with the weights a little after Wednesday, but nothing is really working for me this year lol.

How does anyone even pick some of these games? Like the 0-7 Jets scoring 23 4th quarter points to squeak by the Bungholes? Every week there are at least a couple games that come out of left field and if you have them weighted heavily and tube it, it's curtains!

LOL, I just totaled my winning pct. in this Pool of Death. I'm at 81-40 for a 66.94 winning percentage. This would be good enough to beat any of the 11 so-called "ESPN Experts" on their site, but with the cannibals here in this pool, it only gets me a third-class ticket to Nowheresville.

I see little hope of catching up in this contest without taking some dangerous risks picking impossible upsets, like Carolina over the FudgePackers at Lambeau for 16 clams.
