Cal and Schneider hands down.
Blue Jays go from last place to the World Series.
I heard talk of Dan, that’s a joke.
Cal as catcher cinches it.
Clearly, the more valuable.
Judge in RF, what comparable influence does that position have?
MVP and AL Manager of the Year
Re: MVP and AL Manager of the Year
The Blue Jays were fairly dominant in their division all year, while the Mariners were out of first place for four months, only getting hot in September.

Re: MVP and AL Manager of the Year
Yankees spent more time in 1st place than the Jays. The Jays were in 4th place on May 25th and 3rd place on June 30th. They only won their division because of a tie breaker.
After April 19th the M's were in either 1st or second for the remainder of the year and won the division by 3 games. I'll take the guy who had 90 Million less in Payroll on the roster.

Manager Of The Year and Coach Of The Year are the biggest jokes of awards, they almost always go to the manager or coach of the "Cinderella" team. Just look up the MLB, NFL and NBA lists and a lot of the winners you'll be like "Who the hell is that?", and "Why do Joe Torre/Tony LaRussa/Bill Belichik/Gregg Popovich/Steve Kerr/Phil Jackson" have so few?
