Re: Breaking: Hawks trade for a WR
His name had been thrown around as a guy the Hawks would be after. 44 catches for 499 yards in 9 games this season with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum at quarterback. Sounds a LOT better than giving Jake Bobo more playing time. Even for a 4th and 5th that's a good pickup.

Great looks like we're stuck with Bradford/Haynes at RG the rest of the way.
Re: Breaking: Hawks trade for a WR
No teams are trading away top lineman. It rarely happens. If you don't think JS has tried, that's on you. He's not going to overpay just for the sake of doing it. What major olineman trades have happened recently? it might be the most sought after position right now. No one's giving those players up, except at ultra premium prices - they are too hard to find - for ALL teams.Sibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Tue Nov 04, 2025 9:37 pmGreat looks like we're stuck with Bradford/Haynes at RG the rest of the way.![]()

Well, pretty much every team in the league has a backup guard that is head and shoulders better than Anferny Bradturd. You're telling me none of them was available?

Not only great speed but good hands and the ability to make catches in traffic.

The Hawks have allowed the fewest sacks of any team in the NFL. I am not so sure they think Bradford is as big of a problem as the fans seem to think he is.

That's it, what improvement in production would you expect from replacing Bradford, the offense is already operating at a high level. I believe it demonstrates how the offensive line is more about coaching and building an offense than individual talent. You want to improve the run game? I'll bet bringing in Rashid as a deep threat will do more to open up the run game than replacing Bradford wouldCaptain 97 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 05, 2025 4:40 pmThe Hawks have allowed the fewest sacks of any team in the NFL. The lowlight clips floating around the internet have probably contributed to this. But I agree with Donn, what actual upgrade would have been out there?Captain 97 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 05, 2025 4:40 pmThe Hawks have allowed the fewest sacks of any team in the NFL. Don't get me wrong, I don't like Bradford, and certainly hope he isn't the starter going into next season. But I'm not sure there was a suitable replacement out there for a price tag we would have been OK with.

Yeah, I would assume they are interested in an upgrade but there really isn't a reason to have addressed it at the deadline. Just trying to get a new player up and running in their system mid-season could cancel a lot of the possible improvement. And adding Rashid could make Bradfords job easier. I think its fair to look at it that way,Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Nov 05, 2025 5:07 pmThe lowlight clips floating around the internet have probably contributed to this.
