And someone could hire me to build a nuclear reactor, doesn't mean it'll happen.

Imagine the shock we must all have that the Raiders made a bad hire! Go to the Playoffs, Jesus Lord.

If that was the expectation? He better live to 90.
And you are correct. Why hire Pete when the team is in need of a rebuild, looking back it doesn't make sense. That was pointed out at the time. You don't hire a 73.year old coach to rebuild. That's my point, nobody was looking at it as a rebuild
Holy shit the went 4-13 last season an you think PC and Geno are going to get them to 9 or 10 wins.  Literally NOBODY with a fucking brain thought that.

Who rememebers the classic movie "They Live" with Rowdy Roddie Piper? FIrst of all, an epic classic. It is more true today than in the 80's when it came out. Anyway, remember his catchphrase in the bank? "I'm here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubblegum!" Well, Pete was heard in the post game locker room saying "I'm here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I'm all out of kick ass...!" Someone should print that t shirt with his face on the front and Geno throwing a red zone pic on the back.

Raiders circling the drain hard and I am here for it!

In other news, Antonio Brown is still a jerkoff.

https://www.seattletimes.com/sports/nfl ... subscriber

According to an arrest warrant detailing the May 16 shooting, Brown is accused of grabbing a handgun from a security staffer after the boxing match and firing two shots at a man he had gotten into a fistfight with earlier. The victim, Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, told investigators one of the bullets grazed his neck.

A second-degree attempted murder charge carries a maximum 15-year prison sentence and up to a $10,000 fine in the event of a conviction.

Brown has dealt with several legal problems over the years. He previously had been accused of battery of a moving truck driver, several domestic violence charges, failure to pay child support and other incidents. During a 2021 game with Tampa Bay against the New York Jets, Brown took off his jersey, shoulder pads and gloves and ran off the field, leading to his release by the Buccaneers and effectively ending his football career.
I remember when Russ was all butt hurt because Tommy Boy got him and we didn't. Good grief. It blows me away when QBs think they should be in charge of personnel. Worked out real well for Russ in Denver, and how about the moves Tommy Boy is making in Vegas?

Fantastic film. And as you say, more relevant today than back then.

There's a rumor going around that the Steelers and the Raiders are interested in Kyler Murray.

"Bleacher Report's Moe Moton believes the Raiders and Steelers will have interest in trading for Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray, who Moton believes could fetch "multiple future first-rounders" in a trade.

Murray, whose contract carries another year of guaranteed money, would be an ideal fit for a squad that needs a quarterback, but isn't in a position to draft a top prospect."

Multiple first rounders? I would avoid Murray like the plague. But that's just me.

C'mon, Aaron Rodgers is the greatest QB to ever play the game and a top tier evaluator of talent. Just ask him. Or better yet, ask the Jets.

Isn't it disturbing how accurate an 80's horror movie is? The faact it keeps getting more and more real - honestly frightening.

Also, the fight scene is better than any Rocky movie IMO
