Did the Seahawks really only attempt two passes in the 2nd half? Not sure i like that.

To be able to run the ball when your opponent is expecting you to run it is considered a key to winning. I think that's what we just saw. I think that's a scary development for their opponents coming up. If the run game is getting as difficult to stop as the pass game

Hawks and Rams are 1 and 2 in NFL.com power rankings and Profootball network rankings. Feels like a big game Sunday. If there was a NFL game day (there should be) like College Game Day, I think it would be in LA in a week.

Only one QB hit allowed and one sack (which admittedly was a turnover). The run game was the best its been all season. They bullied a good Cardinals defensive front and few things are more humiliating than having a scoring drive that’s double-digit plays for long yardage and nothing but rushes. I am not here to argue the Seahawks have an elite offensive line; they have an offensive line you can contend with

At heart I'm old school, I hate shotgun, that's about as smash mouth as you can get. Preseason they talked the talk about being a physical team and now they are walking it. I really am impressed. They were mocked for bringing in a bunch of run coaches but man we're seeing results

It is - aside from the bumbled exchange - that line may be better with him back at center. I thought he was good when he was a starter, not sure why he lost the starting gig. Did Cabledue get time at center, too?? Gotta love the smarts of this team to get that huge lead then simply bleed clock, keep JSN and the receivers out of harms way, and 'practice' the run game. I was greedily hoping for a 50 burger, but this was the smart thing to do.

I believe that 12 passes is the least that the Hawks have ever thrown in a regular season game. The only other game I can recall that was comparable was the playoff game against the Raiders in 1984 and sure enough, Dave Krieg threw only 10 passes in that game. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/ ... 220sea.htm They handed the ball to Dan Doornink 29 times, David Hughes 14 times, and bored the Raiders into a 13-7 victory. A lot different than yesterday's game.

I'm on the record as saying I don't want the Seahawks "to go turtle" as soon as they get the lead, but what I meant is like a 10-14 point lead.
There's also a difference when the "bleeding the clock" run game is actually moving the chains. If you can run the ball effectively late in the
game with the lead, you are going to win. period. I'm hoping we don't see Sam backed up against the endzone much in the future...
