Looks like a relatively easy schedule. I am seeing 9 Wins as the floor.
No Michigan, No Ohio State.
Penn State is down
Michigan State and Purdue are trash.
Penn State was trash this year. They will probably get a bump with a new coach but we get them at home.
Nebraska and Minnesota are ho hum.
Iowa is always a tough team but we get them at home.
Indiana is losing a lot of starters and should take a step back we get them at home too.
Toughest games will probably be Oregon and USC on the road.

Re: 2026 Schedule
Crazy, WSU in the first football game of the year!?
Scared to say it, but I agree that 9 wins should be the floor. Though? Just seems that this group is going to lay an egg on the road against someone they shouldn't. Rutgers and Wisconsin in the last two years, both incredibly frustrating losses to very inferior teams.

Makes sense to open with Wazzu, get a softer landing than if they came right out of the gate facing Eastern WA.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Dec 03, 2025 7:08 pmCrazy, WSU in the first football game of the year!?

Re: 2026 Schedule
I feel too bad about the whole situation to make fun of Wazzu any more. I really wish they would make a concerted effort to try and get into a real conference rather than trying to resurrect the Pac 12. Doesn't matter what you call its still just the Mountain West. Seems like there is room for one more team in the ACC or Big 12 . At least then they would be able to renew some rivalries with some former Pac 12 schools. Those two conferences have 17 and 16 teams respectively while the Big 10 Has 18. I suspect that the SEC is going to poach Miami and Florida State eventually to go to 18 teams so maybe there will be room in the ACC for the Cougs and Beavers if that happens.57reasons wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 5:33 amMakes sense to open with Wazzu, get a softer landing than if they came right out of the gate facing Eastern WA.Michael K. wrote: ↑Wed Dec 03, 2025 7:08 pmCrazy, WSU in the first football game of the year!?

Re: 2026 Schedule
I feel bad for them, and then see hundreds of ignorant WSU fans, University heads and football coaches blame the Huskies for the downfall of the Pac 12. Then? I realize they deserve everything the got. The University Presidents turned down a big money Television deal with ESPN that would have kept the Pac 12 hole, and those idiots held out for more money. The Big 12 swooped in and took that offer.Captain 97 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 05, 2025 5:01 pm

Gee, which Conference is still in business? The Pac 12, and specifically the cast offs OSU and WSU tried to spin it into "we need to stream". Bullshit. No other Conference is streaming, and all the other Conferences remain. Odd. They flat out fucked up, so the LA schools bailed, Colorado and Utah bailed, Oregon was going....and WSU expected the UW to stick around and protect them. The WSU President was a part of the small committee that voted to turn down ESPN and held out for like $20 million more PER school! Then that asshat tried to spin it to blame the U of W and say that streaming was the answer. Until the story broke of how much money those Jackasses turned down, and how much they were asking in return! Ask the Big 12 if they regret taking the offer after the Pac thumbed their noses and over played their hand.
Listening to Cougar and Beaver fans blame the U of W, for being the LAST one to flee a failing Conference? Screw that. They can have the Mtn West.

Re: 2026 Schedule
Great day in College Football as the Indiana Hoosiers defeat the Ohio State Schmuckeyes to become the BIG champions. Nice to see Alabama get blasted too and hopefully they don't get in the playoffs now. Suck it Kalen!
Then there's the ACC shooting themselves in the foot by letting the 5th best team in the conference play in the championship game (fucked up tie-breaker system?) and guess what happens? 7-5 Duke wins and now there are people arguing they should be in the 12 team field.
For the millionth time, GET RID OF CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP GAMES!!!
