I watched about half of his 2025 Strikeout video before I got bored. Didn't see him hit 100 once.

On the other hand....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eroqClve4zs&t=36s
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ura2Ilz--a0

But I guess you've done all the "research" So I just shouldn't comment.
You compared Ferrer to Ferguson in a post. Basically just ignoring any and all context.

What else am I supposed to do?

This is like saying a team shouldn't have traded for Mackenzie Gore b/c they already have Marco Gonzales.
You're right the only possible response was to post false info while also claiming that you are the one that "does research".
You want to argue your point, fine but you lose all respect when you talk down to people while simultaneously claiming things that obviously aren't true.
What did I claim that wasn't true?

This is now the second time someone has called me a liar in 2 days lol. I already proved the other guy wrong.

He's hit 100+ plenty of times in the videos I've posted in this very thread. Tf are you on?

His highlight vids look great. But how does he have such a low K rate and Hit rate on the wrong side of 9. He needs a major transformation to be a reliable high leverage arm. Hopefully we don't have to trade any more first round picks for projects because they took BP with a donut on their bat. Would we be happy if we took a reliever with the 12th overall pick in next years draft?

Presumably the K's are lower because he gets more grounders. He also doesn't walk that many batters and doesn't give up many homeruns. I like the skillset.

Yes love the low walk rates. Usually control is big problem for guys that throw that hard. But the hit per 9 is bizarre.

Doesn't throw his slider enough.

Throws 70% sinkers, 22% change, 8% slider.

Given that M's relievers throw off speed very much in tandem with their fastballs... I'm gonna guess we see a big uptick in the slider so hitters can't gear up for the heat and are more off balance. He also abandoned his 4-seam last year... my guess is he'll bring it back vs righties since his sinker didn't fare well against RH hitters.

Like usual, some moron in the Nats org looks at a guy with one of the most effective sliders in the league and didn't convince the pitcher to throw it more. 116 sliders over 2 years for 2 hits.

I think they'll tweak his arsenal to get more chase and K's, which should cut down on the hits. I think the Mariners looked at the age, tools, and track record and decided that this is a guy that has a very good chance of moving into the elite reliever tier, but even if that doesn't happen the floor is still pretty high with what the player is right now.

BABIP is pretty high for grounders. He has a 64._ % rate. Usually grounders turn into singles. I think he will be great. He has a couple of secondaries that have high strike out rates and whiffs. I am betting they ask him to increase their use and we have another guy down there in the BP that can just shove. Prince Harry is a fair price.

The Mariners reportedly had coveted Jose A. Ferrer since the left-hander was 19 years old in 2019:

“We feel like we got the No. 1 trade target on our list,” Mariners president of baseball operations Jerry Dipoto said on Monday at the Winter Meetings. “Like, this was the guy that, if we could dream the dream, who would you want to acquire? This was the guy we were looking to acquire.”
