How about we trade for him and he can teach Julio how to have good first halves and Julio can teach him how to have good second halves....Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Tue Dec 09, 2025 7:01 pmI wonder if the M's had any conversations about Abrams in the Ferrer trade.
Guy is an enigma...
1st half: .831 OPS '24/ .836 OPS '25
2nd half: .586 OPS '24/ .633 OPS '25
If he can put together better 2nd halves he'd be a 5 WAR SS.

If it was that then he would already be signed by now like Naylor. imoSexymarinersfan wrote: ↑Tue Dec 09, 2025 10:01 pmIts going to come down to winning and comfort vs dollars. Pirates are looking for anything with a pulse to throw money at.

What pitchers are we comfortable giving up for Marte. This dude needs to be in our lineup. Can we get by with a Hancock, Evans type package or are they gonna want something better.

Problem is we take Marte and salary then who takes Millers spot? They won’t have budget for another pitcher and we see Evan’s pitching and HancockSeattle or Bust wrote: ↑Wed Dec 10, 2025 4:24 amHere's my pkg:HawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 10, 2025 3:21 amWhat pitchers are we comfortable giving up for Marte.
