Ok we get it DT. An 18yo better hit .400 with a 1.400 OPS, never make an error in Rookie or A ball, and have 150 sb's or you are trading his ass for a 34yo at the end of his career.

Please.....I work with teenagers with severe behavior disorders every damn school day. If I am not told to Fuck off at least 3 times before 9am, I ain't doing my job right....and I always do my job right.
Now I will concede that Felnin has not been Julio in the minors, but he is making steady improvement while playing. We don't know if he will tap into his athletic ability as he gets a bit older. I will also agree that he needs to take a big leap forward this year, if not he is trade bait but not yet and not for Yandy. Not opposed to Yandy, just not that high of price.
Re: Yandy Diaz
I said upthread that I was curious what the cost for Yandy might be and DT gave me an answer based on the trade values site.Bil522 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 5:30 amPlease.....I work with teenagers with severe behavior disorders every damn school day. Re: Yandy Diaz
Thanks, yes I was just doing Gabe a favor and Celesten was the first name I came to (the list of players is in alphabetical order) that might make sense based on the Rays willingness to trade for young prospects and that had a value a bit higher than Yandy's. I wasn't advocating for that trade in the least. btw He hit .158/.602 for Everett in a small sample.GL_Storm wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 5:38 amI said upthread that I was curious what the cost for Yandy might be and DT gave me an answer based on the trade values site.Bil522 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 5:30 amPlease.....I work with teenagers with severe behavior disorders every damn school day. Re: Yandy Diaz
Celestin is years away from even being a major league player and is far from a guarantee. It would be a no-brainer to deal him for Diaz who is a .300/25 HR bat, and even if we got him one year too late, how bad could he be? Definitely not Solano or Garver bad. Dude can flat-out rake.Bil522 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 5:30 amPlease.....I work with teenagers with severe behavior disorders every damn school day. I tend to agree with you but for me it's more about the injury history and wondering if he can even stay on the field long enough to develop. The tools are supposed to be loud though and my guess is they don't want to give up on that quite yet.DavidGee24 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 11, 2025 10:31 pmCelestin is years away from even being a major league player and is far from a guarantee. I have to ask, what is the story behind your Avatar? You seem like a no nonsense guy but you have the goofiest Avatar on this site. lolGL_Storm wrote: ↑Fri Dec 12, 2025 12:35 amI tend to agree with you but for me it's more about the injury history and wondering if he can even stay on the field long enough to develop. It's one I used years ago and happened to still have the image saved. I have a different one that I like better but the dimensions are wrong and I'm too lazy to edit it.D-train wrote: ↑Fri Dec 12, 2025 1:17 amI have to ask, what is the story behind your Avatar?
