I don't care if they get Linderbomb or not, but if they don't replace Bradford i'm going to be pissed.

I don't expect them to replace Bradford. They will bring in competition. It could happen or be someone that takes over the following season. The competition will be like the fourth round selectionSibelius Hindemith wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2026 5:03 pmI don't care if they get Linderbomb or not, but if they don't replace Bradford i'm going to be pissed.

Dipoto isn't the one that calls the shots. He's not the one signing the checks, Stanton is. So if your gonna throw blame around aim it towards the right person. Only so much Jerry can do when your hands are tied. Does he still get some of the blame oh yes.

Blame for what? You don't have to like the guy. I think dipoto and JS grade out pretty evenly for ability to manage their respective teams. I've commented on seeing similarities with how they are runHawkandMariner88 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2026 2:50 amDipoto isn't the one that calls the shots. He's not the one signing the checks, Stanton is. JS on what he's up to
"I hate this time of year where people are talking about, 'Well, he's not worth this, he's not worth that,'"
"We don't look at it as worth. It's, what's the guy's value for us. His value around the league, that's that; what's his value for us and how do we fit that into our budget, to keeping the whole 70 together. Having the best 53-man roster, the best 70 guys, what does that look like in totality
"Ranking players, this guy's better than that player, that's more for the draft, really,"
"This is more, how can we maximize his earning power as well as keeping as many people together as we possibly can. It's trying to keep as many people happy as we possibly can and maximizing guys' earning power, and still having cap room, a little bit of cash for when you get to the trade deadline so you can still do things at that type of year because then you have a little bit better feel for where you're going and what your team looks like."

And again JS's off season strategy being questioned
It's hardly an apples-to-apples comparison, but Los Angeles fans will recall that the team handed its own Super Bowl MVP, receiver Cooper Kupp, a three-year, $80 million extension that very offseason. Different position, totally different contract scenario, but that's how you treat your hardware-hoisting playmakers.
Maybe not in Seattle. In this day and age, running backs have effectively become disposable commodities in the NFL. Still, obvious top options don't grow on trees, and Walker certainly is one when healthy. If the Seahawks elect to let him walk, leaving them with an injured Charbonnet and no one else to speak of, that's fine with the Rams. Go right ahead

You can't keep everyone. This is a bummer, but it's the reality of things. There are backs out there. Not a great year for backs in the draft, but it is what it is.
As for why do you pay a CB? Not sure why anyone would ever say that. You pay the guys on defense based on how they impact the QB in the passing game. We have DBs that not only impact the QB by covering WRs, but by generating pass rush as well. I'm blown away how anyone could watch what they did this off season and the result to this season and start thinking that we are obviously fucking up now. JS has nailed like four drafts in a row. I expect he'll do that this year as well.
