Here is the other possibility that JS could have said and perhaps it will make you realize what a meaningless fluff piece that is:
Well GMs and HCs talk in fluff piece, but when I think of fluff piece I think of a written article.
Schneider said those things on Wyman and Bob on 710.

I guess Brock thinks there is something still missing from the Hawks RB broom closet. No fast RBs. Take a look at the "highlight" they show of the new guy. Wow, amazing he scored a TD after contact. Has this ever happened in the NFL before. I can't believe the Packers would just dump such an amazing RB for nothing. lol

Brock forgot about Velus Jones. Jones has 4.3 speed. No need to draft. :)

Wyman and Bob lol who interviewed Jerry Dipoto for over 15 minutes yesterday and instead of asking him a single question about Handshakegate, the biggest controversy in YEARS instead spent over 5 minutes talking about Ichiro's presence at the Spring training facility like he hasn't been there almost every season since pre 9/11

Complete ball licking jokers. You think they might have asked JS why he thinks this ACL recovery might be shorter than usual??? Fuck no they just eat up whatever he says like Cub scouts listening to ghost stories from their Camp leader sitting around the camp fire. Useful idiots.....

Oh Charb is a real pro so he can defy the very nature of human anatomy.

VERY weak RB draft but no worries all the other teams including our rivals will just let us pick our fav RB in the entire draft. So simple.

Yes, most of the time I agree. 710 is the Seahawks flagship station, and they are almost always positive. They also don't
want to piss off JS and risk losing his exclusive interviews, even though they are boring and BS. Same with Brock and
Salk with MM.

However, Wyman did sneak in the question about the millionaire's tax and got a huge viral sound bite.

Greg Bell on Walker
According to Walker, Schneider and the Seahawks did not offer him a new contract at any time during last season. Walker said in August and again at the Super Bowl this month when The News Tribune asked him if the team had approached him about a new deal: “Not that I know of.”
The Seahawks planned all this past season to audition Zach Charbonnet for a possible takeover the lead-back role in 2026. Charbonnet shined in a job share that was partly to preserve Walker to get through all 17 games of the regular season. He did, playing a full season for the first time in his four years with the team
There's been a plan, it's like a set of variables, relative risks. The question has been how much has charbonnets injury impacted that plan. The attitude going into FA had been it impact it a lot. JS could be inclined to use the franchise tag on Walker because of it. But the reality is it seems hardly to have impacted things at all. JS seems to have gone about things as if Charb could be ready for the first game. JS really has done nothing to fill the lead back role. JS BSing about Charbs recovery serves no purpose. Fantasies aren't filling the lead back role. If JS knows Charb most likely isn't going to be available next season then why the casual attitude finding a replacement for Walker?

I read some stuff on reddit, personal accounts of recoveries. Not that it means anything but there seemed a relationship between the extent of damage and recovery time. This isn't about JS BSing about Charbs injury in my mind. It's about the possibility of their being a range of possibilities terms of the damage. I'd like to hear from a doctor. Could JS be weighing the risk of banking on a relatively early return of Charbonnet in regards to his RB room, that's the question I have

Hoping now that Etienne has signed in the Big Easy, that a trade for Kamara is in the works. we cannot seriously go into the season with the RB room as is, and hate to use draft capital on that this year with so little of it to begin with. Been watching re-runs of the Rams victories, and K9 was electric. this offense certainly needs some of that in his absence, and Kamara is one of the few available with any kind of real juice. plus he brings a huge receiving element, far better than K9. Alvin could step right in to continue our Special K - make it so John!

Does anyone else think that Walker peaked early? Dude can play, he's already won a SB and was SB MVP, but lots of players hang around the league for years and never get a sniff of a championship. Other than the money, it could end up being all downhill from here.

Time will tell.

Yes, time will tell, but as far as I know he will be full health going into next season.
Also, I thought he was getting more patient and reading/trusting his blocking better. He's 25yo.
