It won't feel meaningless if after 5 and a third perfect, Gilbert goes full on Gilbert, walks two and gives up a three run bomb and we lose by one run. My guess is our opponent isn't going to start their second or third best option, so runs might be at a premium.

It will once its Woos turn on Day 4 and instead of facing their #1 he's up against their #4.

And Gilbert isn't exactly minced meat.

Did they ever determine precisely what was wrong with Woo's shoulder during the playoffs lasf year?

Great question, I'd forgotten he shut down.

That's probably enough reason alone to ease his workload a little bit by burying him in the 4 spot in the rotation.

Hopefully it was nothing... but hopefully one of the writers asks about it.

So, Woo is going from possibly starting day one to starting day four? Why?
