GENEVA (AP) — Swiss food giant Nestlé says about 12 tons, or 413,793 candy bars, of its KitKat chocolate brand were stolen after leaving its production site in Italy earlier this week for Poland.

The company, based in Vevey, Switzerland, said in a statement Friday that “the vehicle and its load are still nowhere to be found.”

Just look for the fat guy sitting on his porch with chocolate all over his face. "Did you steal the Kit Kat bars?" "BUUURRRRRRP! No."

Tel Aviv — The Israeli military’s top general suspended all operational activities of a reserve battalion involved in the detention and assault of a CNN team in the West Bank last week, the Israeli military said Monday.
The reserve battalion, which is comprised of hundreds of reservists who served in the ultra-Orthodox Netzah Yehuda battalion, will be immediately withdrawn from the West Bank and reassigned to training until further notice, an Israeli military official said.

The sweeping disciplinary action by Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, the Israeli military chief of staff, appears to be unprecedented in speed and scope, coming about 48 hours after CNN’s report about the incident first aired. It also appeared to reflect growing concerns inside the Israeli security establishment about spiraling Israeli settler violence in the West Bank

Israeli police have prevented Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin patriarch of Jerusalem, from entering the Church of the Holy Sepulchre to mark Palm Sunday Mass.

The Catholic Church said on Sunday that Pizzaballa and Francesco lelpo, the official Guardian of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, were both prevented from entering the church

“As a result, and for the first time in centuries, the Heads of the Church were prevented from celebrating the Palm Sunday Mass at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre,” the statement said.

“This incident is a grave precedent and disregards the sensibilities of billions of people around the world, who, during this week, look to Jerusalem,” it added

I always like asking people on the left......if the U.S. is so incredibly bad, racist, misogynist, blah, blah, blah.....where would they rather live? It's so hilarious that none of them can ever answer that, or if they do, it is some obviously inferior country that they'd be miserable in if they ever really moved there.

Parts of the US are "bad, racist, misogynist, blah, blah, blah" and drag the other parts way down.

I like living in the places I've lived. Seattle is a wonderful area compared to the dust holes Conservatives call a dream. All the bad pub they like to say about liberal cities is fantastic as far as I'm concerned... stay living in fuck hole America while we occupy the beautiful parts that people actually want to live.

I would hate to live in a place where "bad, racist, misogynist, blah, blah, blah" live and I have to hope that a good amount of people toward the middle are smart enough to not let them rule the country through Christian Nationalism, pretending the President has been delivered to us by God, racism, sexism, hate, etc.

Thankfully enough people are repelled by the vision of the country I just laid out and are showing up to ruin the Trump admin in the midterms. That and Trump isn't delivering on anything good for the American people that he promised so he gets to become a lame duck pretty quickly, lessening the damage he could have done.
