This offense couldn’t get the ball out of the infields with a batting tee
Yea Cal and Julio would swing right through. At least Naylor is having a better night. Reached base 4 times.

Rangers dont feel safe with 3 runs so they are adding more make it even more impossible of a comeback. Hahaha this team is so fun not playing an actual game.
How do you go from hitting 60 home runs to total offensive dope
We knew Cal would regress, but not like this.

With just a little more defense we could've won this one...

Just need Super Heroes with super powers on defense and it would have been a 0-0 tie!

Here's an article looking at whether defense or offense gets you to a WS. I think as it points out you need some of both. They pair it with home runs, home runs, pitching and defense. It's interesting, the mariners offense is built for home runs even though that seems to be discouraged here on the forum. Players are supposed to quit swinging for the fences. But if you drill into what successful teams do to reach a WS it's probably going to be pitching, defense and home runs.
