Leave it to Dipoto to disguise a Legume as Hops for a better brew on the mound. It's the same guy!

Hoppe is a 27 y.o. rookie. When he gets on the mound for the 1st time it'll be his 1st MLB pitch.

Best of luck, Alex....for you and for us!
Rocky Colavito is a Hall of Famer in my book!

Hoppe.. Good luck!
. The biggest standout in Hoppe's repertoire was a slider with an almost straight-downward motion. His four-seam fastball also averaged in the upper-90-mile per hour range

He was horrible in the Red Sox system but lights out for the Rainiers albeit only 8 innings. Maybe there is a little juice left in the Lab.

Naylor throws his bat away and starts heading to 1st base but doesn't challenge?
