May be time to call up Emerson.

Rivas is unplayable at 3B right now.
He's hurt. And:

He's "dealing with a wrist issue."

And Arkins can shove his head where the sun don't shine.

Even if you have to call him up until Donovan is back, do it. You at least add something to the position while Rivas is literally the worst hitter in baseball right now.

You would think one of our genius media members would have asked the crazy question, If Colt wasn't hurt would you have called him up. I guess when they googled what questions they should ask, that one didn't come up.

Raleigh seems to be heating up. Could be a good sign.

They still lost 2 to the lowly A's.

In what logical way is that a hit? Because it's unusual?
It ends up in his hand.
And what's to say, when he pulled it out of his shirt, that he couldn't slap it up in the air so Young or Crawford catches it? Then he could call it a ricochet, and it was caught in the air. The ball was still alive, wasn't it? There have been hundreds of times a line drive or pop-up hits a heel, and a different fielder catches it for an out, or 2 or 3 fielders collide, the ball bounces off a glove or a head and it's caught. That's an out.

Stupid rule interpretation...did Wilson protest the game? No.
So a ball stuck in the wall padding should be an out once a player is able to grasp it?

M's are 26th in slugging.

Pretty shocking.

It is probably the biggest mystery on this earth that Julio is capable of hitting 60 homers in a home run derby but through nearly an entire month of a season has 1 homer.

Raleigh hit .462 in the series with six hits, three home runs, three RBIs and four runs scored. Julio hit .500 with six hits and an RBI. Naylor hit .545 with six hits, three RBIs
and they lose two out of three

Would make for a good trivia question- How many non-HR balls in play in MLB history have resulted in a Hit without touching the field...

Arkins blocked me. Emerson was out of the lineup again last night.
