They must have had some insight that they couldn't move back and get him. I'm good with the pick, but thought they'd add a pick by moving back and still get him.
Maybe no team wanted to move up to 32 or maybe they didn't want to risk losing him for a mid rounder. I DO NOT CARE! LOL

Yeah, not a reach at all.

Fire Schneider? Probably the right move. Dude has NO clue what he's doing... right? Macdonald likely signed off on this.
Perhaps JS agreed that a run first team can't go into the season with George Holani as our RB1

The Titans moved up to 31. They had to know the Hawks weren't taking the kid from Auburn.

Not sure why they did that.

Only a reach if it doesn't work... the draft board sites didn't have him as high...

But Rob Staton actually predicted this pick. Mel Kiper named him specifically for this pick too.
So did Brock, Joel Klatt and Daniel Jerimiah. You know guys that actually get paid to predict such things.

I do agree that they should have traded back...

If the Titans were looking to trade up (they moved into 31), why didn't the Hawks just trade them the 32nd pick? They would have traded back to 35, likely acquired a 4th rounder for their troubles and Price would have very likely still been there.
Likely would have been there. What if he wasn't. Then we would be completely fucked. Not worth the risk. imo

I guess...

I mean we still have a 2nd rounder that we can trade back to grab a late 5th rounder or something.

After the 3rd Rd, the draft falls off of a cliff! A HUGE cliff.

J. Love was the best player in this entire draft.

JS and MM said in the press conference they were doing everything possible to move back, so I doubt it was for a lack of trying.

They sound pretty excited by the pick and I trust anyone making the pick that doesn't have the initials PC.
