It's not so much his current situation, I've never understood batting Cal second. I understand not switching the lineup around because someone is struggling. Then you just end up trying to chase hitting streaks

I'm talking about the last 3 games after he missed several with some injury. They didn't need to put him back in the 2-hole and there was no continuity to disrupt at that point. And yes, he should not ever bat second.

If he's your two hitter I'm OK with that. I'm curious why he's the 2 hitter. Wilson is an idiot for batting him second. But Wilson isn't an idiot. I'm always just more curious about an explanation than ranting about how dumb something is
